Zoomies Policies

Welcome to Zoomies Doggy Daycare! We’re committed to providing a safe, enriching, and joyful enviornment for your dog. To ensure the well-being of all our guests, staff, and pet parents, we ask that you review and adhere to the following policies.

Enrollment Requirements:

Vaccinations: All dogs must be current on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Proof of vaccination is required prior to attendance.

Spay/Neuter: Dogs must be spayed or neutered. Certain exceptions may apply for puppies between 6-9 months.

Meet and Greet: All dogs and owners must participate in a meet and greet prior to any stay. A meet and greet ensures that your pup is comfortable, not aggressive, and healthy.

Age Minimum: Puppies must be at least 6 months and fully vaccinated.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up:

Hours of Operation: Monday-Sunday, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM

Early Drop-Off/Late Pick-Up: Early drop-off and late pick up requires pre-approval. A late fee of $30 applies for all early drop-off and pick ups after 7:00 PM. This is in addition to the fees discussed under the “Boarding Policy” section.

Boarding Policy: The boarding rate includes a 2:00 p.m. drop off time and 11:00 a.m. pick up time. If Owner drops off prior to 2:00 p.m., Owner will be charged a $30 early drop off fee. If Owner picks up after 11:00 a.m., Owner will be charged a $30 late pick up fee. 

Health & Safety:

Illness Policy: Dogs showing signs of illness (e.g., coughing, vomiting, diarrhea) will be isolated and must be picked up promptly. If a dog is not picked up immediately the Owner will be responsible for the cost of lost business as a result of sending other dogs home to ensure their health and safety.

Injury Protocol: Minor injuries will be treated onsite. For serious incidents, we will contact you immediately and may transport your dog to a local vet.

Emergency Care: In case of emergency, we will seek veterinary care at our discretion. All costs are the responsibility of the owner.

Flea & Tick: All dogs must be flea/tick free. Should a dog be observed to have fleas or ticks, the dog must be picked up immediately and a $50 cleaning fee will be applied.

Behavior & Conduct:

Aggression: Dogs displaying aggressive behavior will be suspended from daycare and must be picked up immediately. If a dog is not picked up immediately the Owner will be responsible for the cost of lost business as a result of sending other dogs home to ensure their safety.

Barking & Anxiety: Excessive barking or signs of distress will be monitored.

Potty Trained: All dogs are required to be housebroken. Excessive marking or accidents in the house will result in the application of a $50 cleaning fee.

Media Release:

By attending Zoomies Doggy Daycare, Owner’s consent to the use of your dog’s image in social media, marketing, and promotional materials. If you prefer to opt out, please notify us in writing.

Liability Waiver:

Zoomies Doggy Daycare is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or escape incidents that occur despite reasonable care and supervision. All clients must sign a liability waiver prior to enrollment via our customer portal on the Gingr App.

Food/Meds when boarding overnight:

It is the Owner’s responsibility to provide adequate supply of food and medications for Owner’s dog(s) during the entire time Owner’s dog is cared for by Zoomies Doggy Daycare. Should the food/medication supply need replacement, Owner authorizes Zoomies Doggy Daycare to purchase replacement and Owner will reimburse Zoomies Doggy Daycare for the actual food and medication plus up to $25.00 time/distance trip fee (per occurrence). It is best to pack one extra day of good/meds just in case of unforeseen travel delays.

Payment: Are due and payable at the end of each visit, unless purchasing a membership, which requires pre-payment. Payment may be made via Gingr, Zelle, Venmo, or Cash. Memberships must be paid through Gingr.

Abandonment: If the dog(s) is/are not picked up within seven (7) days after it was initially scheduled to be picked up, and the owner has not provided payment for the extended stay, it is considered to be abandoned. Zoomies Doggy Daycare shall first try for a period of not less than seven (7) days to find a new owner for the dog(s) or turn the dog(s) over to a public Animal Control Agency or Shelter, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Shelter, Humane Society Shelter, or nonprofit Animal Rescue Group, provided the shelter or rescue group has been contacted and has agreed to take the dog(s).

Right of Refusal: Zoomies Doggy Daycare reserves the right to refuse admittance to any dog or dismiss any dog that does not meet or maintain the health, temperament or other daycare/boarding standards. The determination shall be made at the sole discretion of Zoomies Doggy Daycare.
